The Laurelys

Pairing the haunting harmonies of the Appalachian mountains with high energy and modern storytelling, The Laurelys are a rowdy Newport, Kentucky-based folk band. Natural performers, The Laurelys play "with an energy... rarely seen or heard considering their style of music," said Jared Bowers of Cincy Music. "Melodies that certainly referenced more modern songwriting, but never strayed too far from their literal and figurative grassroots... was given to the audience with a ferocity that was, frankly, stunning." In February of 2026, The Laurelys released their debut full-length album, "Without A Trace", a reflection on life over the last decade that blends their distinct harmonies and clawhammer banjo with elements of rock, indie, and Americana.
