Opening Reception – Printed Voices from Kenya

Join us for the opening reception of Printed Voices from Kenya: Social and Cultural Reflections, an international exhibition curated by Saad Ghosn of SOS ART. Featuring 154 prints by 42 established and emerging Kenyan artists, this powerful exhibition explores the social, cultural, and political issues shaping contemporary life in Kenya. Through a wide range of printmaking techniques, artists use their work as a voice—sharing stories, perspectives, challenges, and hopes from their communities. Printed Voices from Kenya is the fifth installment of the biennial "Printed Voices from..." exhibition series organized by SOS ART in partnership with Kennedy Heights Arts Center. Following exhibitions featuring artists from Mexico, Lebanon, Czechia, and India, this year's exhibition highlights Kenya's rich artistic heritage and vibrant printmaking tradition. Enjoy an evening of art, conversation, music, and light refreshments as we celebrate the opening of this remarkable exhibition and the connections that art creates across cultures.
